Calling for Contestants – 1001 Places to Remember [An Archisteem Project]
The project – 1001 Places to Remember is still an ongoing project which the team does not intend to stop until realizing the ultimate goal which is to produce a publication that is based on the stories shared by the Steemit community.
So far, we had not received any submission for the contest even though we put up prizes and perks to be won. Nonetheless, we take it positively and see what we can do to approach this project in another perspective. The team will be proactively dropping by through comments and posts to increase the exposure of this project in hope to gain more traction.
Again, I would like to reinstate that the project is Steemit community based which @archisteem wants to gather different stories from different places around the globe and make it into a publication. This could be the FIRST ever collection for a non-technical kind of writing. I believe that the project can prove that Steemit community hosts a large pool of talented and enthusiastic people that willing to share and create values for the larger community together.
The submission for the project is simple:
- Use one or not more than 3 images to write a story.
- Images and text should be genuinely produced by the author.
- The story should be 300 words or more.
- Use the tag #archisteem and #placestoremember.
The prizes are still unclaimed and so we decided to retain the prizes as it is until we receive at least 20 submissions.
Here are the amazing prizes up for grab:
- 1st prize: 5 SBD (+received SBD from the concluding posts of the contest)
- 2nd prize: 3 SBD
- 3rd prize: 1 SBD
- 4 Consolation: 0.25 SBD each
In the meantime, I will be working on some collaboration scheme with someone within the Steemit community to make more impact and exposure to the project. Once things get sorted out, I will make the announcement :)

Cool contest, good way to aggregate experiences from around the world
I might have to dig out time and memories to participate; but given the number of amazing writers here and my lack of practice, I'm probably doomed to a consolation prize hahaha
Take it easy @motordrive, never try never know. I am sure everyone starts from a beginner like me. Even if you do not make it for the prizes, we will consider whether to include your submission into the publication as well :) It depends on the competitiveness of the submissions for the specific session that you submit.
Tips: Now it is still not well known among the good writers! It is your chance :P
Hoping can get one post done for this soon. Have idea and places, but always no time to execute it.
