Archisteem Project: 1001 Places To Remember (S01) Closing Soon!

Dear Steemians,

@archisteem team is happy to receive superb support from the community for the project “1001 Places to Remember”. It is a continuous project that aim to collect a total of 1001 stories from the Steemit community and making them into a publication. The collection of stories will act as a memory record for all the authors and it also can become stories and guides about a place, told by different and unique Steemians.

We are eyeing for 20 submissions for our first round and will be cut off soon by Sunday, 12pm EST. (Short of 4)

As of now, we had established two long-term collaborations with these two alike and amazing initiatives!

A City A Story by @aaronli

This contest is a weekly contest initiated by @aaronli. The intention of starting this contest is to encourage more people to share about culture and stories of their hometown or their cities. This could help to promote the place’s uniqueness to a larger audience and in another way, to express our personal love to our beloved hometown and cities.

We found that both of our projects are well aligned and decided to collaborate and to make things bigger with more exposure! Participants will now get a chance to win both prizes at the same time, making the prize pool larger than before!

Photocircle by @funtraveller

#photocircle is a curation program started by @funtraveller (also happened to be the co-creator of #archisteem) to curate photography submissions with the #photocircle tag. One of the themes for the photography curation program is Architectural & City Photography which is aligned with the 1001 Places to Remember project as well as #archisteem.

We decided to collaborate under the theme Architectural & City and share the prize pool as well. This is a mutual relationship that will help both programs to thrive and to reach a larger group of audience.

I would like to personally thank @aaronli and @funtraveller for the opportunity to collaborate. I believe through this long-term collaboration, we can reach out to more Steemians and help more people to get their stories known to the world. In addition to that, this will make all the contributors will more exciting as the prize pool had increased!

Rules for the project:

1. Use one or not more than 3 images to write a story.
2. Images and text should be genuinely produced by the author.
3. The story should be 300 words or more.
4. Use the tag #archisteem and #placestoremember.

• 1st prize: 5 SBD (+received SBD from the concluding posts of the contest)
• 2nd prize: 3 SBD
• 3rd prize: 1 SBD
• 4 Consolation: 0.25 SBD each
