Turn off the TV - Lightpainting Photography
Do not adjust your tv sets :)
This one grew as the evening went on. I started with a little blade rotation, then added the tv element and finished off with the hands cupping the rotation.
Double blind pan for this one (one for the inner hands and one for the blade rotation) which made it a little more challenging. I needed to use the same flash guns on different powers and positions, then get my hands placed in exactly the right spot so they looked as if they were holding the light and so as not to fall outside the tv screen.
www.lightpaintingbrushes.com 9 inch diamond blade modded with marker pens to mimic the colours of the gels used on the flashes.
Lauren very kindly offered to be my flash popper and torch-monger. She's a good un.
Single long exposure light art shot in complete darkness.
Raw conversion with a drop of the shadows and blacks, boost in contrast and some other minor touches in LR.
