RE: The Goji Berry(Lyceum Barbarum) bushes are loaded with flowers and fruit today! ...
Man, look at all those flowers. This plant is gonna be loaded! Asian people like to eat their goji berries in savory soups, but I think your way of eating it preserves the nutrients much better. Can't believe I have never thought about eating it like raisins.
ohhhh yessss.....thanks for adding that! :) soups and teas!!!! they work wonderfully in them! i also use them with chaga mushroom in making a base tea....for making mead and kombucha. yah my little boy enjoys grape raisens and goji raisens a LOT! i hope ya'll got a TON of rain....soaking into your land today. your post on how the storm fertilize our land...is soooo good! please keep it coming sister!
Just out of my curiosity, have you shared the reason why you started on this journey of growing your own nutrient rich food? How long ago was it when you first started? If you have already done videos or posts in the past about this, do you mind sharing where I might find that info?
Thanks for your kind inquiry. :) I made a intro post for steemit....detailing a bit of my history. you can see it here: https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@rawutah/10-years-of-the-food-forest-hello-steemit-vlog-1-2018
You can see a span of about 10 years worth of videos on our youtube channel. i was making wordpress blog posts....before youtube but then in 2008 just started making content for youtube...and then fb a few years later.
Back in 2001 I was working a face paced corporate job....and my body and spirit gave out...from that environment. I quit one day ...and walked away from that world. Went on "walkabout"...for quite a few years...until about 2008...when i started the food forest here in s. utah. bought the dome that year too. sold my car...and just went for it! :) hit me up anytime with questions. i feel you..and appreciate your journey you have shared so much! :)
the food forest and the earth...have healed my spirit. it's a daily process....as you know. ;) cheers my friend! YOU inspire me so much!
Wow, the post is truly inspiring! The comparison photos are like night and day. Love the drone shot. It makes me feel like I was at your place seeing the wonderful food forest. I can't believe you have done all this on just 1/4 of an acre. I am truly grateful that you have shared all your knowledge that you have gained for the last 10 years. I feel like I still have a long way to go to get to where you are today. You are awesome!
YOU are awesome my friend!!!!!!!!!! thanks for taking a look at the post! :) i can't believe what YOU are doing on that plot of land! i can't wait to see how all the development goes! inspired beyond measure over here! truly grateful you are here...and sharing what to me...is priceless information. CHEERS...and huge thanks again!!!! :)
