Plant showcase: “Hardy kiwi.” The sun is just rising on these beautiful ladies! ...

in appics •  last month

... The hardy kiwi is a delicious variety of kiwi that is not fuzzy on the outside. They are smaller and super sweet! Hardy kiwis are colder climate kiwi that can handle sub zero temps. This vining layer of our food forest allows us to take advantage of all the space on our small lot. As well as being an edible archway and tunnel you can walk also helps shade and cool this side of the home. I’ll show this plant more closely in an upcoming video. I’ll also post some links below on where you can learn more about these genetics and a video by Geoff Lawton...on Food forests and the “layers” within them....for those that want to learn more! Happy growing fellow Steemians! Thanks for tuning in! -Jake and the Raw Utah family
