Indian Dahi (sweet curd) Wada Recipe ...

1 cup urad dal
1 fistful of split moong dal
3 dried red chillies
1/2 inch ginger
Salt (to taste)
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 litre curd
1 tablespoon roasted cumin coriander seeds powder
1 tablespoon ref chilli powder
Oil (for frying)

Preparation for Sweet Curd-
Mix curd and sugar till there's a smooth consistency.
Add salt to taste

Preparation of Wada-
Soak urad dal and mung dal together for 4 hours
Drain the water
Grind the urad dal and mung dal together coarsely in mixer
Pour the urad dal and mung dal mixture in a pan
Add salt (to taste)
Crushed ginger
Cut red chillies in small pieces
Mix all the ingredients well.
Heat the oil in a frying pan
Deep fry small chunks of mixture .

Place sweet curd in a dish
Put wadas in it
Sprinkle little red chilli powder and cumin coriander powder.

Enjoy Dahi Wada!
