A lot of innovations and advancements have come from the internet over the years, the sharing of news is now being done in seconds unlike some years ago where it took months for news to circulate from one country to the other. The internet makes it possible for news to circulate the world in seconds. Not only this, what about the means of communication?....thanks to the internet, we can now interact with people very far away with no stress at all; the internet has really come a long way. Though the internet still poses some problems but despite that fact, most activities and innovations are still being done with the internet as the supporting platform and one of those innovations is the E-commerce. The E-commerce was initiated for a general purpose at that purpose is to improve trades by making it electronic. With the E-commerce, products can be bought from anywhere in the world and at anytime and get these products delivered to one's doorstep; the E-commerce is truly a huge innovation brought about by the internet and technology.

During the initial stages of the E-commerce, there were several related problems; buyers did not get the luxury of inspecting the products they were ordering for before paying and as a result when some of these products eventually reach the buyer and they are not exactly satisfied, there was nothing that could be done as the transaction has already been completed. This particular problem let to the creation of several middleman platforms connecting buyers of different products with the respective sellers. This way buyers were rest assured that the products they are paying for were void of any defects; this became the new order of the E-commerce.
This new order had some downsides; the selling of products via these middlemen platforms on the sellers' part led to increased cost as sellers had to pay to get their products displayed on these middlemen platforms, not to talk of the logistics surrounding the delivery of these products to the respective buyers. Most times due to the volume of products that needed delivery, delayed deliveries were often the case while some deliveries got cancelled altogether and this led to cases of mistrust on the part of buyers.

Due to the numerous issues affecting the E-commerce industry, a new blockchain based solution was created and this solution is the "ApolloX Network".
ApolloX is a blockchain ecosystem that connects buyers and sellers via a single platform ensuring complete trust and efficiency. The ApolloX ecosystem is divided into three (3) blocks:
-ApolloX Community which consists of makers, sellers, customers, service providers and technologists.
-ApolloX Protocol that facilitates the building of decentralized e-commerce applications and services on blockchain.
-ApolloX powered shops
The ApolloX ecosystem aims at bringing transparency to the e-commerce industry by virtue of the blockchain technology.

There are several protocols created by the ApolloX ecosystem to help solve the prevalent issues with E-commerce; we have the reputation protocol that help restores reputation of a product and in essence, restores trust on the part of the buyers of the products in question. We also have the payment protocol that is directed towards transactions made within the ApolloX platform, most especially peer-to-peer transactions. We have attribution protocol, oracle and data protocol, arbitration protocol, community built protocol.
ApolloX is pushing towards the direction of making it possible for businesses to have total control of their customers and work to retain them via several loyalty programs.

ApolloX is the answer that has been sought all these years as regards E-commerce and coupled with the leveraging of the blockchain technology, ApolloX would be a revolution to E-commerce.
