Anime Character Drawing Challenge --- Fujinuma Satoru (ERASED/Boku dake ga inai machi)

Finally! A drawing challenge which involves my favorite subject, ANIME!!!

I decided to draw Fujinuma Satoru from ERASED or Boku Dake ga Inai Machi. He is the main character of the said anime. I recently wrote something about it, so feel free to read this post. (https://steemit.com/motivational/@tegoshei/boku-dake-ga-inai-machi-erased-motivational-series-4)

Without further ado, let me present to you, Fujinuma Satoru!

Here's the process:

Let's make the base sketch...

Next up... The line art and coloring of the "film strip".. :)

Next would be the lineart of the character... I separated the young and old version of the character

Let's color!!

Let's start with the hair...!

Shadow portion..

Then, the base color... I combined dark blue and gray to get the exact color of the character's hair.

Next, let's do the facial features!

Then, the skin shadow...

Then, the clothes and other details...

And lastly, let's attach the signature... :)

I loved Erased so much... except the ending which was ok, but not as good as everything that led to it. maybe I'll write something about this anime/manga in my learned from manga series.

Your art isn't bad... though I feel it isn't the best it can be either... especially if you drew this from reference, not from imagination. I feel like the jaw (of the child Satoru) needs some correction. but I might be wrong... I'm not the best artist haha!!

Thanks for your comment.. :) I still have a lot of rooms for improvement.. ^^ I usually draw using reference and just try to modify it.. ^^

I agree... ERASED is a great anime, but the ending could be better. However, I like how unpredictable it was.. ^^

That's the thing that made me say "it's ok" it too... it's not bad... it's just not as powerful as the rest of the anime. and that is saying something!!
