Vineland Saga the best anime in 2019
Vineland Saga is a Japanese-style historical manga series, written and drawn by award-winning Makoto Yukimura. The series was published by Kudansha, and was its first sequence in the weekly Shonen magazine before moving to the monthly manga Aftron, the series is aimed at adults. As of November 2017, the series has been grouped into twenty volumes
Episode 23 summary
It is clear that the events began to take the direction of the political clash and the attempt to triumph over the other with a trick and cunning since Prince Kanout returned to the seat of government, and today the features of this conflict appeared more clearly in the decisions of the king issued in the imperial council as well as Ashilad's dialogue with himself.
The episode focused on two things:
First: The Imperial Council .. The Imperial Council, which brings together the masters of Denmark, begins amid the spread of the rumor of the attempt to assassinate Prince Canute by the king strongly, and this is a success of the Achilad plan (in order to protect Canute) in an attempt to create confusion among the people that the king may try to keep Canute from power And therefore if the king was thinking of the assassination of Canute, he would cancel it because he simply would point the finger of accusation directly at him .. Then the king would enter and make some decisions after congratulations on the victory over England, and a statement that the return of Canute is a stroke of luck he did not expect (and this is an indication that his plan in Getting rid of Canute didn't work.)
The most important events in the imperial council: -
1- Determine the next target of the invasion, Ireland, the homeland of the former Danish king Harald.
2- Canute was appointed governor of the area of (merica), which is a fertile and prosperous land in England, and the reason for this appointment decision is that the king indirectly wants to pay rumors about him that he is behind an attempt to assassinate his son, as well as an attempt by the king in order to remove his son from the capital of government (note: This is what Achilad wanted.
3- Ashilad’s self-confidence is strengthened and he believes that the king has no strategy facing him .. But I believe that the king is not an easy person to whom these plans go unnoticed and certainly he has a plan that Ashilad did not notice.
