SAO Abridged | The Best Anime (Parody) About People Trapped in VRMMO

Bunch of N00bs trapped in a buggy Virtual Reality MMO where death in the game means dying for real!! yeah... that's what SAO Abridged is... Sword Art Online Anime but better.

If you're new to the Abridged series thing here's the Wikipedia definition:

An abridged series is a fan-made parody series using footage from the original series, filled with comedic dubbing and non-sequitur dialogue. It is called "Abridged" because episodes are not as long as the original episodes. Most of the abridged series that are created are based on anime and uploaded onto YouTube.

The main premise is the same: 10,000 players are trapped inside the VRMMO game on the launch day. and they're told the only way to get out is to clear all the 100 floors of the game, and it takes the players 2 months to clear the first floor.

The main difference is the characters, Abridged Kirito isn't a hero, he might be closer to a villain. he doesn't care about anyone but himself.. while Kirito is described in the original show "not good with people" he makes a lot of friends and sacrifices in the show. Abridged Kirito is really not good with people and only save them because of circumstances, not for having a good heart.

Most of the players are made unreliable, and they changed many players personalities to more real-life-like perosnalties of MMO players.. they made most of players N00bs (those who don't know how to play and think they do) and made the two main characters "the most broken" people in the whole game!!

But SAO abridged is a parody of the original Sword Art Online... it makes the show funnier and makes fun of some of its flaws.. fixing other flaws. they didn't abridge the series a lot.. most of the abridged episodes are long compared to other Abridged series.

But the amazing thing about SAO Abridged that it doesn't change the Dramatic moments to funny ones. the sad parts are still sad... and the silly atmosphere of the rest of the series makes these scenes more shocking.

I recommend SAO abridged.. It IS the best anime parody I've seen in my all life. But I recommend watching the Original first!!
