Moving the MooBurt - Part ONE

Hello guys,
right now I am taking a break with the fair jubilee, from cleaning out Burt’s space. Over night he had another poop storm and he was covered in it, it is everywhere in every crevice. He was drenched in pee as well. I carried him out side, of course I fell but I made sure he was ok. For someone who takes a stair ever 30-40 seconds this has been challenging to put it mildly. But things will get better as I just met some new rescue peeps here on Steemit and one of them lives near Wilson which will be a game changer. They want to help me with some stuff for Burt and are also reposting my special Help MooBurt Wishlist.

@sircork who runs @youarehope & the @steemstarnetwork on discord, introduced me to
@rhondak who is now organising some local help for me and has been power promoting my original MooBurt post thank you again for all the help and support.

As I said I am resting a bit as I just lugged out 5 huge buckets of water to wash the Burt thankfully the wether is warm and I have enough shade to park him in the yard while I make his space liveable again. Needless to say he is not happy with me but he is walking which is more than he has done the last 2 days. I am letting him dry and then I might do one more round followed by a layer of dry doggie shampoo once he dries again. For now he is giving me the cold shoulder- literally. I am working on removing his old crate, which was falling apart anyway and now is stuck full of you know what … after I kill myself doing this, I am going to clean the rest of the you know what off the walls and out of the heating vent …yup he got that as well …

What makes this so frustrating is that my health and disability is making me work at snail pace, my body is already screaming at me and the house is already a mess because of the home invasion 2 weeks ago. I hope that the new setup will make Burt more comfortable, but also will be easier to clean as the rest of the Nangijala furmonsters need me to take care of them as well. Once I have Burt's space clean and dry I am going to lay out some of the surgical pads I still have from when my nurse was taking care of my wounds. I am going to try to install my thick babygate after that. If that works I will not need a new crate for Burt and it will be better for him as he will be able to move with more ease. Now I am off to round 3 of the battle … Wish me luck will keep you all posted.

Too be continued …

Update #1

Crate dragged out ...cried like a baby ...howled like a mad woman but it is out ...

Its amazing that the people of steem are able to help you out, poor doggo, Burt is very lucky to have someone like you looking after him.

Keep yourself well, oh and I'm getting your stems. :)
