My Local Zoo Fire!? 28/12/2017
Hello Steemian as there was some interest in this post I done the other day so I thought I would do a quick update on the situation.
As you may know just the other day I learned the sad news that the Zoo I visited just month ago which happens to be my local Zoo mysteriously caught fire.

There was a 2 hour window cap from the time the fire started and the time when I was there a month ago which is kinda scary I told my other friends who visited and they were also uncomfortable by this happening.
The fire brigade tackling the fire were called to the scene at 6.08 they fought the fire at the Adventure cafe and shop near the Meerkat enclosure there was a total of ten fire engines with around 70 firefighters and officers all at the scene tackling the fire!!

The image shared as the firefighters worked on calming down the fire at the scene.
A spokeswoman from the Fire Brigade revealed that approximately half of the adventure cafe, the shop and the animal petting area was alight in flames.
The spokeswoman from the fire brigade also revealed its not believed any animals were hurt at the scene.
The fire was brought under control about three hours later and unfortunately the news came that there was indeed animals caught in the fire.
Some staff who live on the site were on the scene immediately and were trying their best to move the animals to safety.
-Six people were given help at the scene for the effects of the smoke inhalation.
-Two counts for minor injuries.
-One count a person was taken to hospital.
Unfortunately the process the Zoo fire kills a very cute Aardvark of 9 years and possibly 4 Meerkats as bodies cant be found anymore yet but are suspected to have been taken by the fire.

While this news is indeed sad I have to think it could of been alot much worse it was lucky that the fire fighters managed to control and beat the fire in time before anymore animals got killed.
But it wasn't just down to pure luck this fire got stopped and many animals were saved.

No indeed we have to thank Abdul H as he saw the blaze from the nearby park when he was out walking his dog.
As he continued walking he thought to himself that doesn't look like smoke just coming out of any ordinary chimney, its to heavy he thought.
As he got closer to the zoo he could see that it was actually inside the Zoo!!
So he went over to the security and told them that there's flames or smoke coming from inside the Zoo and if they knew anything about it?
Just as shocked the security didn't have a clue!

Thanks for the update. Yes, it could have been so much worse. Abdul H was at the right place at the right time which probably saved so many.
Yes Abdul alerted security in time before the fire could of killed dozens more animals and destroyed the whole Zoo phew @whatisnew

The fire as been stopped it was at my local Zoo by the store and cafe @rezawijaya dont forget to upvote.

I think I heard somewhere it was a electrical faults but I may be wrong on that it is sad to hear some of the animals didn't and I know this may sound bad and I don't mean it that way but it good that it only gotten a few lives.
