Goats are among the homesteading animals that are well known for being escape artists. In this collaboration, different channels share about what techniques they use to keep their goats at home rather than allowing them to free-range around the neighborhood or countryside.
With a comical little intro and outro, we offer up our own story about trying to keep the goats at home. Enjoy!

Next time try doing the introduction in black and white it would look like one of the old silent funny movies , I had no idea goats would let you ride them. Cheers mike
LOL - good idea! I might have to try that. Yeah, our @little-peppers ride the sheep and goats around quite a bit right now, but they hope for a pony one day

Thanks for the fun n informative video. Your land looks like mine, lots of rock and medium sized trees. You have much more cleared while mine has a lot of steep topography in the south 20 acres.
Have been off n on about getting goats due to the difficulty of fencing. Am considering the use of trees as posts.
Still haven't figure out a way to let my great pyranese dogs come n go from the fenced area that the goats can't get thru. They can get under a barbed wire a foot off the gound. Can goats do that? Would be using mesh fencing, maybe a bit off the ground in a few places for the dogs.
Humm..I have heard that goats try to cause problems and get into trouble all the time...well sounds like you have had some good luck with the ones you have/had!
