Adventures in Pet Sitting - New Weekly Feature: Ask Aunt Deb!

in #animals8 years ago

I've been contemplating a weekly feature called Ask Aunt Deb, which would provide a space to have pet related questions discussed. There's no time like the present, so here goes...

There are lots of topics to explore: Meals, Exercise, Training, Behavior Issues, Medical Situations, and more.

After seven years in this profession, I've dealt with many routine fixes to the truly oddball stuff critters come up with all on their own.

So, ask your question(s) or describe your situation in the comments and I'll respond to the two with the most upvotes. I can get wordy, so believe me, this is for YOUR benefit. If I don't know the answer, I'll do my best to find reputable experts who do.

Then, on Saturday I'll post my responses - plus, we'll hopefully generate a new batch of questions to brew in the comments for you to vote on.

Upvote, ReSteem,

THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

That's a great idea. I hope this works out. I've been reading mushroom poisoning reports. I've been surprised how many cases there are of dogs being poisoned by toxic mushrooms. And I know that dogs have trouble with some foods that people enjoy. How do you tell when a dog has eaten something that you need to go to the vet for?

Thanks for the encouragement and excellent question! Good topic to do a refresher on as they keep adding stuff to the no-no list.

That's interesting that it keeps developing. I would think the experts know pretty much everything about dog problems by not. But I guess not.
