Poor Marley Bulldog's Terrible Bath Experiences-

Marley is somewhat agreeable to the dress ups as long as it does not disturb her too much - check out this shot!



Unfortunately for her she has never liked baths. The cold plain fact is that precious Marley bulldog has to have a bath. She hates baths. Simply put, Marley has been a dog that does not like water. It is in fact an ongoing unsolvable aggravation for poor Marley. You can see her shaking and trembling when led by the lead to the shampoo and water. The water is warm!

This may sound very silly and I am sure it does to any non-dog person. The theory is that the dogs understand their owner's talking. The logic behind this owner to dog communication is that it produces a calmness and reassurance in the dogs. Fascinating isn’t it? Dogs are clever.

I talk to our bulldog about the need for a bath because I want to calm Marley. The reality of life is that bathing is a necessity I tell Marley bulldog. The other important fact I say to here is that bathing keeps her from being itchy and socially acceptable. And really Marley, you only get a bath once a week and at worse once a fortnight. However, it does not matter what I say, Marley remains disagreeable to being washed.

Washed she is! The treat wins her over.
