Hi there,
my name is André and I´m new here at Steemit. As I´m interested in cryptocurrency a friend told me about this blockchain-based social media platform. Although I´m not a fan of social media and never signed up to any of those big players the idea of blogging and getting upvotes for real content convinced me. So I was thinking about the whole concept and finding a compromise between writing what fascinates me AND is also interesting for other community members. The solution was found quickly as nothing is nearer than writing about my alpacas.
We breed those wonderful animals for more than 10 years here on our farm in Germany. Since this time the industry has developed more one could imagine. Not only the qualitiy of the animals itselves has improved enormously but also is the interest in commercial products and these wonderful animals growing year for year. We read more and more posts and articles about what makes an alpaca the new unicorn.
Further what could be a better start for this blog than receive the registration link when just arriving home from the National Alpaca Show.
These days are one of the most valuable in year. Meeting old friends, likeminded humans and a lot of interested person are just a few points to mention. Not to forget every breeder brings his best offspring to compete and get a classification and feedback by an international judge. So did we as you can see in the following picture with second placed multicolor female Happy.

So I think I survived my blogging experience. I´m looking forward to improving the fame of these amazing animals and of cource reading your comments and questions too. I will do my best to hand over my knowledge and fascinate YOU. But I like to close this post with a warning and an old peruvian saying: Never look too far in the eyes of an alpaca - you could fall in love.
