I have no idea what type of bird this is but it was so colorful and came every day to my sons yard to eat bugs in the grass. Panama has some really unusual birds and it is always nice to see something from another country when you visit.

No, only when it was eating the bugs. It would stay for long periods at a time.
Was thinking it was a bird that didn't fly much having those long strong legs.
