My Dog
I remember so vividly the day she entered my life. She came all the way from a breeder from Louisianna and was hand-carried by a dog handler to the San Francisco International Airport. The excitement of seeing her for the first time is still so fresh in my mind. She was barely 4 months old then. She must have been scared or worried, coming from so far away because she was shaking the first time I held her. But so quickly, she settled on my bosom as if she knew that she was finally home and that she belonged to me. I instantly felt her love, as I know that she felt my love for her. That was 12 years ago.
My Yorkshire Terrier was Champion Sired and I had the obligation to attempt to finish her to your championship, which we successfully did together! She was such a beauty and was a great representative of the breed that she garnered all 14 points required by the American Kennel Club to be conferred the title of Champion.
A goofy playful and sweet dog, she follows me around and always stares at me as if her existence depended solely on my giving her attention and loving her back. There were times when I was sad and crying and she would cuddle on top of me and just listen to me.
I know that this dog was created just for me so that I would know and feel what unconditional love is.
My dog's name is My SweetPea.

Dogs are very practical but I'm more into cats, just ask JM Engelhard on IG. We tend to swap cat photos with each other. And I get my cat fix from my Tenant's pet cat. A very good mouser too.

@silversaver888 Don't know how I didn't comment on this post! Your Yorkie is beautiful and it is always great how dogs have that connection with you. There is something so pure about it. Just amazing! I have a Yorkie Poo and she is 14 pounds of straight personality. I love her and couldn't have asked for a better friend. Thanks for sharing your friendship!!
