Dating and Courting in the Animal World: It's a Dog life

Procreation is the natural law of existence of all living species! All animals need to procreate in order to maintain the delicate fabric of survival. To quote Charles Darwin Theory of Natural Selection: survival of the fittest. All living organisms adapt to various environment in order to survive, one aspects of survival is to maintain the high breed quality of genes. This works through procreation.

Animals like humans undergo the process of selecting and choosing there partners. Animals have different ways of doing this, in this post we focus on dogs.
Dogs are like humans they also undergo dating and courtship at some point rejected!

We begin with dating like humans dogs go in groups or what is known as
pack. This type of searching and choosing there partner is evident in wild free roaming dogs. Wherein male dogs are following the scent of the urine of a female dog. One female dog can have ten dog mates. Male dogs commonly show aggression over other dogs. Sometimes it may end up hurting and killing the other dog. A female dog may reject a male dog which is not appealing.

The male dominated behavior, aggression and search are eliminated. Male dogs do not need to compete or search due to artificial courtship that is utilize.

Conclusion : In both the wild and the tame dogs the female dogs still shows more preference than the male dogs. Even in controlled breeding wherein a female dog don't have any choices, but still shows rejective behaviour.

Realization: Procreation is an Essential Element of Life, Humans and Animals Alike.

Lesson: Rejection is only part of life not the sum of it.
