The lightest cat on record is a blue point Himalayan called Tinker Toy, who weighed 1 pound, 6 ounces (616 g). Tinker Toy was 2.75 inches (7 cm) tall and 7.5 inches (19 cm) long.
He looks real innocent, could it have been the cat from next door? I believe him :D
I solved all this by putting an old wooden chair up for scratching and rubbing it with Uffda catnip, worked for me. The legs of the chair are getting thinner already and she never scratches any other furniture.
We have two of these furballs and they have a scratchingpost, which they use daily. But Lucifer decided that he wanted to test the new sofa anyways. Even though we sprayed some "cat-away" spray on it. But he only tried once and there is no visible damage because I was very quick to correct him vocally.
