Snowdogs By The Sea
Brighton Snowdog
In 2016, a local charity, the Martlets Hospice staged a three-month art trail in Brighton & Hove featuring 44 giant Snowdog sculptures by local artists.
It was so much fun walking around the city and finding a new one around the next corner. This one was called Pebbles and was created by Joanna Martin.
Here you can see it standing on the prom close to the end of our road. The buildings in the background form the Regency Adelaide Crescent.
At the end of the trail the Snowdogs were auctioned off to raise money for Martlets. In total the 44 Snowdogs were sold for £337,900!
Isn't that a great way to raise money?

We had a similar campaign for a charity in New Orleans when I lived there. Such a great idea!
What was the theme of yours @terminalblue?
You certainly get around @gillianpearce. The whole idea behind the doggie alone makes this worthy of an upvote :).
Thank you. It really is a great idea isn't it? Sort of brought the city together too. :-)
