First Impressions of my visit at Lake Neusiedler this year

Today i got up pretty early at 5 o clock my alarm clock rang and i started my morning with a long car drive from Linz to the Lake Neusiedler in eastern Austria. But i am happy that i really got some nice pictures again. The effort payed off with the nice pictures i did and all the animals i saw in wildlife again. I was several hours waiting in a hide as well as driving with my car around the Lake for some nice pictures.

Some of these pictures are my first one of these species. So i was able to take a picture of a lapwing or the yellowhammer for the first time. Other pictures from the animals like Rabbits, the swan or the pheasant i have already in my collection. But i have to admit that this time i really got some very nice shots. For this first article i will show you already a lot of different pictures. But i still have some in store for future articles now from this trip.

Some great photographs. I have never seen a Yellowhammer before and I suppose your early start paid off.Ii don't have the patience to stay in a hide, but I normally get quite lucky finding wild life. Happy that you got quite a few to add to your collection.

Heyy @florian-glechner, beautiful photos! Especially the yellowhammer looks quite interesting :)
I will come to your country soon for a family visit. I hope I have some time to enjoy from the nature of Austria. Thanks again for the photos!

Thank you, what part of Austria do you plan to visit?

We plan to visit Graz and Wien, further plans will be made in coming days :) Any suggestions on our way?

Ok i dont know Graz very Well but i am in Vienna very often for wildlife Photography. In Vienna i can recommend the jewish part of the Central Cementary for example. The Floridsdorfer Waterpark. The Danube Island, and the Perchtoldsdorfer Haide, all these places for animalphotography. But also the Architecture is very beautiful in the center of the City. Schönbrunn, Belvedere, The Parlament, Karls Church.

Noted @florian-glechner!
I am not sure if I will have so much time to visit them all, but I will try to visit some of the places you mentioned in your comment. Thanks for the tips!

Lovely shots as always.

Hey @florian-glechner, der "Hasenschuss" ist der Hammer :D
Aber deine Vogelaufnahmen finde ich auch toll, besonders den "Lapwing" :)
Mach weiter so!

Animals and wildlife shots are always a challenge, these pics are of the best I've seen in this platform, the composition is clean, every moment capture is precious, and the colors are perfect, you managed to get the very essence of each creature, great job!
