A visit at the zoo in Haag
In 2016 i visited the zoo in Haag, Upper Austria together with my ex girlfriend and her children. She knew some poeple there at the zoo so we were allowed to get in already 3 hours before regular time. We also could watch the zoo keepers feeding the animals for the first time of the day and that's why we got a pretty nice view of the animals. They where not that stressed as usual when there are hundreds of children and their parents visiting the zoo. Everything was still very calm and also the animals enjoyed this. For me it was the best time to take some nice portrait shots of these beautiful animals.
The first picture here in this post is also hanging as a poster beside my bed (45x30 cm) because i like it very much.

But not only the tiger was interesting for me also the peacock and the leopard got my attention. The big cats like the tiger, the leopard, the cheetah and the panther are one of my favorite animals at the zoo. But i also like parrots or other colorful birds. Unfortunately a lot of people don't even know the names of several animals anymore. I was shocked when a family father told a child about a lion and actually it was a leopard. I find the zoo in Haag is pretty nice for taking pictures, because if you do it right the animals look like in wildlife. And i also prefer the fence compared to glass windows. Because with a longer lens you get easily through the fence but with glass you might get refections on the pictures that you can't remove.
