These photos were taken in Kenya, Africa in a remote location. I am so lucky to have shared this moment with them and now you can too.. I hope you like these photos. Elephants cover themselves in mud in part as a sunscreen. But if you look closely you can see how much fun they have squirting the water all around... This spot was an oasis during the dry season.

Elephants are huge, they need to control their body heat so they love water and mud puddles to keep themselves cool in hot climates!

Yes, that is very true too. Their skin is not as protective as one would think in the hot sun and the mud does wonders to protect them. I have to believe it is tons of fun too!! Thanks a lot for your comment.
