Birds - Curious Thief
During a walk in the park I saw a lot of forty. I rarely take pictures of them, lately, the magpies flew away before I could take a picture.
On this day, everything went according to another plan. I was able to shoot some black and white birds from my camera. I said they are black and white, but, it is not. They have very beautiful plumage. It shimmers with different colors of indigo, from green, blue, to black, like the night.
The magpies were engaged in closely watching other birds. When the blackbirds found something tasty, the magpies flew up to them, drove them away and took the prey. They behaved like racketeers.
Funny birds. I have always admired how magpies take care of their offspring. If their nestling falls out of the nest, they never abandon it to the mercy of fate. They are doing everything possible to save him. It becomes easy prey for cats and other birds, but parents come to grips with sources of danger.
Photos were taken with a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX300 camera
