The Sea Scrub

Sea Scrub or in its scientific name Ducula bicolor is a bird species found in the Columbidae bird tribe. Medium-sized Sea Birds, reaching 38cm in length. This species has white feathers with flying feathers and most of the tail is black. Iris eyes are brown with a bluish gray beak, as well as skin around the eyes and legs. Both male and female are similar. Young birds have white-gray feathers.

Sea Fly Population spread over the forests of small islands, coastal, mangrove forests and swamps in Southeast Asia, from the Andaman Islands, Malay Peninsula, the archipelago of Indonesia, the Philippines, Papua New Guinea and Australia.

Marine birds are usually found in large groups. The nest is made of twigs and is situated on a tree limb, close to the water source. The female hatches a shiny white egg. The Sea Fly is composed of various fruits and ficus.
