Female Orangutan at Tanjung Harapan feeding station- Daily Photo Contests (Monday) · Animalphotography
I photographed this female orangutan in the national park of Tanjung Puting, in Indonesia.
This park is accessed through a narrow channel in the jungle and there are 3 "feeding stations" where orangutans live in a semi-wild state. The most important of these stations is the mythical Camp Leakey.
