Mate, this is awesome. @bluebellpossum and I used to volunteer for a wildlife rescue place in WA.
We both really miss it now that we're in Melbourne. I can't believe you have emus there. They're such a challenging bird to deal with.
its good work to get into, ive never done it with wildlife before only domestic pets so should be a good experience. And yea haha they're fairly new, very funny. Hand raised so they;re pretty good with people but they are definitely a handful. its only a couple hours out of melbourne if youre ever heading north feel free to stop in for a coffee and a pat :P
I'm going to have to take you up on that offer. The wife will go nuts. She's obsessed with cute fluffy things. Especially if they're native.
theres probably more scaley things than fluffy but there's still fluffy :P
Scaley things are good too. Just mentioned it to the wife and she’s very keen to go for a drive. :)
