Damn Nature.. You Scary..!! II

How you doing my dear steemian friends, its been a whole full week since i last wrote anything. Not gonna make any excuses here, i'm just to damn lazy, not really, scratch that, its just a typical problem that every white collar experienced, heavy work load.

This whole week had been hectic, the only free time i had was when i arrive home nearly 12am everyday, wake up at 7:00am arrive to work before 7, went out for a site visit then back in front of my desk nearly at 5 and continue to do paperwork until midnight.

I really hope i will get rewarded for my extra commitment this week, otherwise i might just start my mini rage tantrum again. And please no more hectic work schedule or i might really turn into a zombie, in a matter of fact that is what i am going to write about today. Zombie parasites~~~ UUuuuu~~ spookie~~~ Happy Easter by the way everyone. :)

There are zombie parasites that infect animals' brains and make them do weird stuff.. thats right, lets dive in into some more scary stuff as a continuation from my last post about scary nature. Damn nature ! You scary ! Family Guys reference anyone..?

We live in a world surrounded by things that are trying to get into your body and infect you and control you. Don't be alarm..!! The ones that can control your mind and make you do weird stuff are only infecting animals at this point, there's no precedent for things that infect animals and start affecting humans is there..? Things are gonna turn scary, if any of these things happen to you during your lifetime, it will be a bad day guaranteed.

First of all, i want to show you these two spiderwebs made by the same Costa Rican spider but one of them is zombified, can you guess which one it is..? If you guess the one that looked like a dreamcatcher then you're right.

A pregnant, parasitic wasp land on the spider, paralyzes the spider, and then lays an egg on its abdomen and goes away. Then the spider just goes about its business until the larva or larvae, i think theres more in there, are ready to pupate, and then at that point the pupae inject the spider with a chemical that makes it a zombie and the spider spins that bizarre dreamcatcher like web. So why does it make this web..? Because it doesn't need to catch insects to feed itself like the spider does. It needs to create a secure, safe, longterm place for it to build a cocoon.

So what it does is it makes the spider to spin the web and then the spider goes to the center and just sit motionless, and waits. Or maybe he just sit there motionless because he is embarrassed about that shitty web he just made.

"Oh man i messed this one up, this is a shitty job of a web, i'm so sad.. look at George's web, its so majestic."

Ok, enough jokes. The wasp larva emerges from the paralyzed spider, kills the spider, sucks its innards out and eats it, ditches the body, and then builds a cocoon right there in the middle. That dreamcatcher like web structure is stronger, more resistant to rain, and will stay together for the whole period of it to come out like a butterfly. Except it's not a butterfly, it is a zombie, parasitic wasp..!!

I mean my mind is blown guys. That is not only crazy but also scary, but hand on, thing will only get worse for the next one.

This one involves a cow, a liver, feces, snails, grass, ants, and darkness.

This is a flatworm that mates inside of a cow's liver, which i've always thought was a very romantic spot. And then makes an exit in the cow's feces, for those of you that is not familiar with the word, its poop. And then snails eat the cow's poop and the liver larvae end up in the snail's digestive tract, then the snail live the larvae by extracting them in the snail's slime trail. So apparently the slime trail is like a snail dookie.. hmm.. the more you know.

Ants then come along and eat the snail goo from the slime trails. So now there is a juvenile lancet liver fluke inside the ant that grows up become a teenage lancet liver fluke that then begins to control the ant's nervous system and this is where it gets weird.

It zombifies it and causes it to only during night, climb up onto blades of grass and hang on the end of a blade of grass all night long. Until a cow that is in for a night snack comes along and eats the grass, and the whole process starts over again. If a cow doesn't come along when the sun comes back up, it quits controlling the ant and it goes back doing its regular ant business into the next night.

I am not making this up guys, this happen in nature. This is nature people..!! But with all that said, i am sorry people, this is where i will stop my investigation, its been really late now and i am still lack of rest, wanna guess what time it is from where i'm from when i finish this post and post it..? Here's a hint, its almost 4am.

I will continue the story tomorrow hopefully but i wont get my hopes up because we got Easter party tomorrow all day long, so i guess that will be another tiring that that lack of rest. Until next time my friends, stay healthy and have a nice weekend.
