Grasshopper is a herbivorous insect, This insect has a pair and has a short ovipositor. The sound that some locusts cast out was usually by rubbing the rear femur with the front wing, or by the fluttering of its wings while the grasshopper was flying. The large rear legs are generally long and strong which are useful for jumping.
Grasshoppers generally have wings, although some grasshoppers sometimes wings can not be used to fly. The female locusts are generally larger than the male mantis.
