Government destroys people's ability to love each other, connect intimately, and see things truthfully.

It eliminates the capacity for love by creating emotionless or hyper-emotional environments. In this way, government goons bludgeon truth by spewing lifeless, lie-infused rhetoric or they play on heartstrings with their shallow souls and heathen heartlessness.

But why?

Bureaucracy and political talk are opposites of authentic communication and truth. They are based in make believe, fantasy: in unicorns, dragons, and mermaids.

Politicians create these fantasy worlds by the way they leverage language, by tugging at heartstrings, but also by obfuscating language; by bamboozling people with false impressions of things and events. This is what George Orwell referred to as newspeak. In other words, they talk more nonsense than Lewis Carroll.

Politicians Play on Gullibility

Nonsense indeed! There is fraud and deceit in every word uttered by these political creatures. All the evil governments commit is hidden behind this jargon, legalese, and euphemistic speech.

• Instead of murder, it was just collateral damage.
• Instead of genocide, it is just war.
• Instead of robbery, it is just a tax.
• Instead of kidnap victim, it is a lawbreaking prisoner.
• Instead of war against people, it is war against drugs.

The men and women involved in uttering these twisted, non-truths are hollow inside; dead, cold and inhuman.

Political Games Eat Away the Soul

The political game has molded them this way, like the Ring molded Gollum. Now they associate mayhem and destruction with love. For them, these are acceptable ways of handling problems, even though they conceal the reality behind fraudulent language.

This is why compassion dies with government: words are altered to obliterate reality, which alters the character of many individuals, turning them into something monstrous, devoid of empathy and truth.

Vladimir Nabokov summed up his feelings on psychopathic politicizing with these words:

"It is hard, I submit, to loathe bloodshed, including war, more than I do, but it is still harder to exceed my loathing of the very nature of totalitarian states in which massacre is only an administrative detail."
