I think the externalisation of our problems have led us to this moment in time. We need to stop giving our power away and re-learn to take responsibilty for ourselves and others around us. I am proud to have played a large part in the illegal rave scene in England during the early 90's. I feel at this moment in time (certainly in my country) this moment in history was perhaps the last great youth movement/rebellion. The biggest rave was attended by over 120,000 people over four days, the police were too scared to come in and we policed ourselves. No violence, smiles all round and at the end thousands stayed behind to clear the site and a day later you'd never know we were there. Having personal experience I know for a fact it can work.
