RE: Does Government Even Exist?!

in #anarchy8 years ago (edited)

Hate to break it to everyone. But government does exist. It's called Parents instituting controls over their children. Parents live in fear that their children need protection to survive, so they agree to make contracts between other parents. Government is a contract, yes a piece of paper on the one hand, but also a promise to perform on the other (for the security of their posterity). Just because the paper has words on it does not mean it's worthless or doesn't exist in reality. Your reputation as a being (in reality) rests in your ability to do what you agreed to do ON THAT PIECE OF PAPER. Whether you keep your promise will be reflective of how others view you, in reality, whether that be someone with integrity or someone who does not pay their debts, which they signed contracts promising to pay. Well, that's what government is - born out of fear. The more education about natural law we receive, the more we understand Nature's course in all things and realize our perceptions are skewed about what real protection is (because government is definitely not manifesting the results it promises to effect in the world).

The pieces of paper are just receipts. Written acknowledgements of a thing of value received -or- a mere admission of a fact, in writing which can be used to PUBLICLY PROVE that fact.
