Being all that

in #anarchy8 years ago

In a previous post I mentioned the concept of anarcho-flexibility - being past the adjectives surrounding anarchism.

That is actually an oversimplification. If you look around you see past "left" and "right" anarchists, anarcho-capitalists, anarcho-communists, anarcho-syndicalists, you name it. If anything, they are as varied as the rest of the population. You have the Christian or Muslim anarchists, the atheist anarchists, veganarchists, feminist anarchists, crypto-anarchists, anarcho-pacifists, so on and so forth, spanning all facets of human life and activity.

What I am trying to get at is that anarchists have no less reason to be pigeon-holed, so why should we do that to each other?

Consider one of my favourite anarchists: Luis Fernando Mises @emancipatedhuman. He is a consultant, and not only that but also a yoga instructor who participates in open-carry activism where he lives. To many these would seem like diametrically opposite stances. They are not. They (and others) are indicative of a multi-faceted person who is not pigeon-holed but explores the landscape of human existence. (Humanscape?)

Therefore I am taking this opportunity to feature him on two cards alongside the rest: "shamans with guns" (after his video at the end) and "a yoga instructor who is also an open-carry activist." I had thought about the latter after seeing photos of his open-carry activism while knowing he is a yoga instructor (believe me, I have been thinking of Cards Against Anarchy for longer than Steemit.com has existed) and then when I asked him what he thought about it, he reminded me of the "shamans with guns" video, also a good title.

You'll notice I am mostly poking fun at statists here. They're not that important. Don't ask me how you should relate to them. I'm not your mommy.

So why did the statist cross the road?

Was it because of a shaman with guns? Was it because of a yoga instructor who is also an open-carry activist?

Or was the statist crying because they like freedom?

A statist’s worst nightmare?

The sort of “libertarian” who calls Ron Paul an isolationist idiot? Depends.

Freedom?

Or was the statist’s worst nightmare collecting rainwater?

When dating someone, I can tolerate a shaman with guns and a yoga instructor who is also an open-carry activist, but collecting rainwater is a deal breaker.

When dating someone, I can tolerate a statist and roads, but a welfare state is a deal breaker.

I leave the rest to your imagination.

Happy Friday!

Love and laughs,

Cards Against Anarchy,
the unofficial, unapproved, unlicenced, uncouth expansion to Cards Against Humanity

yeah! this is great! thank you!!! i like the idea of the cards and how it tends to discombobulate individuals living in a straight paradigm.
