Being anarcho-flexible
Just a few hours ago in a Stasibook group centered around Steemit, I got to see this post by @timthevagabond: Bridging The Gap Between Anti-Capitalism And Anti-Statism By Dissecting The Buzzwords That Divide Us. It touches on a topic I have pondered on occasionally. I had been exposed to left anarchism earlier on. Seriously, read up on the Spanish Civil War. So I do have to concede there are elements of it ingrained in me, although I have come to my own conclusion that those movements are no longer relevant.
Therefore anarchism without adjectives is my ideal. Before we were able to have conversations (with words and abstract concepts) and capitalism and socialism, there was anarchy beyond words, beyond adjectives, the purest state of our existence.
Ultimately I think that we have more in common and need to stop with the jeering and the name-calling already. Not because it is turning people away from each other or all that, but because it is not time and energy well-spent. Better to focus on essence than labels and prejudices.
This is the segway to a term I had been thinking about for a while, and I wondered whether anyone had thought about it before: anarcho-flexibility. Being anarcho-flexible. Being beyond the jeering, being able to entertain a thought without necessarily accepting it.
I Google and, voila, yes, someone has come up with it before, although not quite in the definition I had in mind, I should think: this post at some "gentleman anarchist" from 2008. Don't you hate it when that happens? Regardless, here is the card:
What about auto-statism? Whomp whomp - On the Left, It’s Fake Sophisticates, Real Snobs. Yet again, here is the card:
"In the beginning, there was anarcho-flexibility."
"This anarchist cannot do without auto-statism."
"Anarcho-flexibility is the slippery slope that leads to auto-statism." Maybe.
Love and laughs,
C.A.A.
