As promised...I donated $17.152 SBD ($59.68 USD) to @intrepidsurfer to help plant trees!
Sup everyone, if you recall on the previous Liberty Entrepreneurs Podcast episode 79 w @lukestokes, I mentioned that i'd gift 100% of the SBD to @intrepidsurfer so that he can continue to plant trees. This is a good example of how the Free Market, property rights and voluntary action can preserve the earth. We don't need stupid government to "protect the earth" and they wouldn't know how anyways.

Plus we are only scratching the surface on the capabilities that Steemit will provide. I am a firm believer to giving back to the steemit ecosystem, not just posts but with Steem/SBD via giveaways and contests. I know it is a really motivating factor when you are just starting out on here. I just wanted to return the favour. I am expanding the steem forest initiative to give people steem for planting trees anywhere. And it is growing! Next time I make a video I will give you a big shout out.

@intrepidsurfer i remembered while i was in Secondary School we were used by the government of (Mallam Nasir El-rufai) as the minister of The Federal Capital Territory,Abuja, Nigeria, to plant trees across parts of the Nations capital.
While we in school we didn't understand what we were doing but we enjoyed it, but today those tree are providing shelter during sunny days, those trees are providing security in the event of strong winds, those trees today are today making FCT, Abuja a beautiful place.
This trees were planted 12years ago!
I was a part of that project, and i want to continue doing it, how do we go about it?

@ashe-oro In the present Environmental situations its necessary and important to plant a tree as well as supporting tree planting in our geographical locations.

The "World Environment Day" which has been celebrated for years is always hammering on tree planting. In fact in one of its conference, it was agreed that countries should embark on tree planting to save the world. It was also agreed that for every tree we cut, 10 more tree should be planted.
It is now time to look away from the " I don't care style of Government we have these days, and focus on doing it our self to save our earth and the world.
So therefore i want to commend you for your relentless effort in supporting #Treeplanting, you may not know the benefit of what you have today, but let me tell you that you have saved the future for our unborn generation to come.
I hope you keep up the good work to saving our Earth today for a better tomorrow. For this God will continue to bless and replenish all that you have wasted to support this.
I enjoin others to emulate the spirit of tree planting as it will help us.
