Allthough I do not fully agree on your post, I have to say that steemit and steem is an experiment, and we still need to see how this experiment plays out over a longer period of time.
I am also a little sceptical that Steem and Steemit is the final and successfull implementation of the ide of "social medie on the blockchain". Forinstance its not so logical to understand the 3 cryptocurrencies of steem, steempower and steemdollar.
Yes yo are right. It is an experiment but we should be honest about how it works and not pretend that it is something else than it actually is. All those whale pseudo-anarchist behave like this is some sort of anarchist and revolutionary concept. They are either delusional or willingly, hypocritically dishonest...
