RE: Machine learning microservice for blockchain optimized social media disruption

in #anarchism8 years ago

it's funny how we perceive our online personae as directly related to our lives. Facebook (and Twitter) have done an amazing job convincing its users of this. even to the point where we freely divulge information.

i believe the real revolution will be thinking about ways to ensure digital ownership of your data. If companies want to market to you, they pay YOU directly for the privilege.

I had posted this online earlier, and was referred to steem because of it. So I tossed this up here, just for the heck of it.

The internet thrives mainly because of freely divulged information, and operates on freely available code. Its beautiful.

A friend wrote a great post about how his online persona was shaping his life, its at http://gisikw.com/

Is it safe to say that's what steem is? Being compensated in cryptocurrency for social media popularity? I watched the promo video, but didn't get much further.
