Visiting the largest park in Mexico City, Parque Tezozómoc

Situated in the northwestern part of the Mexican city that had its roots in the Pre-Hispanic era, the Azcapotzalco borough, the Parque Tezozómoc is considered as one of the largest parks. On an extensive area of 69 acres, this park host a variety of attractions and convenient features.
The Mexican landscape architect, Mario Schjetnan, landscape designing artistic views that strives to amalgamate social, ecological and aesthetic concern in the quest of celebrating Mexico’s diverse and rich culture becomes pronounced in the garden. With such designing in mind, the part opened its doors to the public in 1982. As the visitors place their feet inside the garden, they will see that along with the picturesque landscaping the park is a significant open public space with sporting and wide recreational area thus making it one of the leading landmarks of the Mexico City.
A look at the features of the park
One of the much-loved attraction of the park is the nature reserve that is a large yet encapsulated pond that is full of vitality and permeates the feeling of tranquility and freshness in the air of the park. Also, the park host two museums of art that is the Museum of Three-dimensional art and Museum of art and they are both situated in the northern edge of the park.
Also through the artistic designing of hills and berms, the Mexican architect manages to create the Valley of Mexico. Within the valley of the basin flows the historic Lake Texcoco which the visitors can describe through the presence of sign s that surround the large pond.
Along with hosting the scenic features and historical elements, the park at present is renowned for being an interactive recreational spot. This means that this is the place that is ideal for socializing, recreation and amusement. There are walkways, refreshment stands, lawns and benches, large playgrounds for the children to become mischievous and a skating rink. Also, the park fosters many of the sporting activities such as basketball, tennis, table tennis and volleyball courts and an outdoor gym for all those who want to remain fit and hale and hearty.
Also, the park places a great emphasis on the ecology as it provides habitats to migratory birds and many species of ducks in the ponds.
