Atlantic's Maritime Museum is a renowned maritime museum situated in Canada's downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia. This maritime museum is Canada's largest Nova Scotia Museum's member institution. It features a wide collection of more than thirty thousand artifacts which includes seventy smaller crafts and a steamship named the CSS Acadia. It is a one hundred and eighty-foot steam-powered surveying ship that was launched back in the year 1913. The museum also features a wide collection of thirty thousand photographs along with a large collection of rare books and charts.

The museum also features a reference library named as The Niels Jannasch Library after the name of the founding director of the museum. This library is open to the public. Canada's largest collection of ship portraits is featured in the museum. It also includes Canada's oldest ship portrait as well as a wide ship models collection. In small craft during the summer months, three boats are featured close to the CSS Acadia. The several public galleries include the Age of Steam, the Canadian Navy, Shipwrecks, the Days of Sail, Small Craft, and the Halifax Explosion.

This museum is renowned for featuring artifacts from the renowned Titanic. The foremost collection of Titanic's wooden artifacts including a few deck chairs of the ship that survived. The exhibit also features a child's shoes pair which was helpful for identifying the "unknown child" of Titanic as Leslie Goodwin, a resident of Sydney. The Age of Steam gallery features a special display on the Nova Scotian responsible for creating the Cunard Line named Samuel Cunard.

The museum stays closed on Mondays. The timings to visit the museum on Tuesdays is 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., from Wednesdays to Saturdays is 9:30 am to 5 p.m., and on Sundays is 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The admission fee for kids under 5 years of age is free. The entry fee is parted in two yearly sessions, one being November first to April thirtieth and the other one being May first to October thirty-first. The Halifax waterfront makes an ideal location for the museum and is the site for many significant public celebrations and events. The museum also hosts various annual functions each year.
