I think Tarkin was really well done, and a good example of use, when it was needed to be the original actor to trigger all our nostalgia, yet Leia even if it was a short glimpse failed, something was off, something was "not alive" and it turned to be so eerie, like a moving "doll". But I think we´re almost there. The example of Rachel in the new Blade Runner was also impressive until she "talked". Guess we have a "soul" after all.
I agree completely @yidneth; Leia looked soulless is a good description :-) And I'm so pleased you also liked Blade Runner 2049; I was worried one of my all time favorite movies would get the Ghostbusters treatment... But wow, did that work out great!

Yes Leia was "hollow" the smirk gave me chills. Sometimes something can look at is but not be us.
I loved Poltergeist (oldie) and the remake was horrendous. I hate new generations will link it yo that bad movie. Sigh.
