"Altruistic Community Contest #1" : If students had faith
Faith is an abstract noun as well as a common noun. Often times people use it to explain a very shallow feeling of misjudged belief. If faith was what it is as used by people, then the world would have a truck load of resilent fighters. How abused and misused this awesome word has been
I took a stroll past the ever jam-packed, busy streets of a higher institution. I stood in awe to see the enthusiasm with how students walk around the school environment
With beautiful apparels, well ironed clothes, such was the sight of this university. You could argue to your grave if you were told that more than half of what you see in school are so naive about what they came to do, judging by the outward show of appearance and disposition
A student fails to study assiduously, always giving so much attention to gambling, bets, fun and frivolities. Do you wanna know why?
Then let me remind you that many students in the university have lost so much faith in the aftermath benefit associated with GOING to school. No jobs, no employment schemes, lack of empowerment and basic social amenities.
How do you expect a student who see how jobless his predecessors have become- to devote his or her time to books
How do you expect a student to have faith when the government does not think about its well being
How do you expect a student whose future is supposedly bleak to have faith on his study
These questions might seem as a justification to this lacklustre attitude by students but I tell you that ; true faith comes in the knowledge of unforseen benefits
Success comes to those who by faith have devoted time to improve themselves even without seeing the end of the tunnel
Success comes to those whose preparations are not bent on mere sights of gains but on unseen improvement of SELF.
IF ONLY STUDENTS CAN HAVE FAITH. THEN WE WOULD OBVIOUSLY HAVE A BETTER WORLD.
