Hello, everyone. We are happy to inform all that Altruistic token (ALLT) is officially out and ready for distribution. This post will give details of how the initial distribution will be made, the aim, and the participation procedures.

Altruistic Token

The Altruistic Token is a token for rewarding good doing either in form of content creating or charity work, and for rewarding Altruistic community members for their community services. Although Altruistic Tokens may be tradable on Bitshares for BTS, they are not an investment, currency, security, commodity, a swap on a currency, security or commodity or any other kind of financial instrument.

This description may change and no promises are implied by the use of these tokens.

Portfolio Builder Token Campaign

We are building a portfolio for Altruistic token because we want to be able to support the whole community of Whales by using the portfolio fund to get more Whalestake. And by doing this, we will be able to apply for the listing of Altruistic token as one of the whaletokens that can be used to reward your post.

Also, apart from using the fund to get more whalestake, we will be using it to fund the reviving of Altruistic charity work. The project Altruistic Helping Hand Will then kick off.

Initial Distribution

The Initial distribution of Altruistic token will be a maximum of 7,000,000.0000 tokens.

There will be an availability of 2000 tokens per day for the first week based on how much each user contributed to the pool that day. After the end of the first week, the number will be increased to 2500 per day. In this way, we will continue to increase the number of tokens distributed each day by 500 every week until we reach 5000 tokens per day. The token portfolio will then continue until all tokens have been distributed.

Formula for the Distribution

We will be using the formula for the EOS token campaign to distribute Altruistic Token to all who will contribute to the portfolio per 24 hours for correct distribution.

X = a * (b / c)

X: Number of Altruistic Token distributed to a buyer

a: Number of BTS contributed by a buyer in the period

b: Total number of Altruistic Token available for distribution in the period

c: Total tokens contributed by all buyers in the period

As an example:

1. 20 Altruistic Tokens are available during a period.

2. Matts contributes 4 BTS and John contributes 1 BTS during the period. The period ends.

3. As a total of 5 BTS were contributed for 20 Altruistic Tokens during the period.

Matts will get: 4 * (20/5)
------------------ 4 * 4 = 16

John will get: 1 * (20/5)
----------------- 1 * 4 = 4

Participation Procedures/ Disclaimer

• All contributions to the pool must be in the Bitshares asset (BTS).

• To contribute to the pool users simply transfer the amount of BTS they would like to contribute to the Bitshares account altruistic-pool.

• The minimum contribution is 10 BTS. Contributions less than 10 BTS will be considered as donation.

• Each day at 5:00 GMT the next day's allotment of tokens will be transferred to the altruistic-pool account and any funds transferred after that time will be counted towards the next day.

• The contributions for that day will be tallied and the tokens distributed to the people who contributed within 24 hours.

• Altruistic Tokens will be distributed to the accounts that contributed to the pool, so make sure you transfer your contributions from the account you would like your tokens transferred to.
