Don't give up the Doge

in #altcoins7 years ago

I posted about how Exodus dropped support for DogeCoin in September. I was impulsive and turned my DOGE into EOS, however I don't want to give up on DogeCoin which is actually a lot more solid than most of the junk on CoinCap or these ERC20 initial coin offerings.

I have decided it is a good time to learn how to make a Paper wallet for DogeCoins.

"Advantages of a paper wallet are multiple:
⇒ They are not subject to malwares and keyloggers
⇒ You don’t rely on a third party’s honesty or capacity to protect your coins
⇒ You won't lose your coins when your device break"

Nice animation.

interested in DOGE, but still don't know what to do .. since this Aug 1st madness...

Litecoin, Dash and Iconomi

have performed the best over the last two months through the madness. XEM is staying pretty stable and EOS is Dan Larimers new project that is about a year or two away still. Dan helped create Steemit so I am willing to bet it will turn out to be something really cool! You can put your Bitcoins in the https://EXODUS.io wallet on a desktop computer, or use Coinomi on an android.

Do whatever you are going to do ASAP, and

do not use the Bitcoin network between basically now and Mid august.

AUG 1st some of the bitcoin miners are splitting off and creating a non segwit 8mb block Bitcoin spinoff called BCC 'BitcoinCash' and if it does not fall apart, we will automatically have a double balance of Bitcoin. Nobody really knows how it will unfold exactly but I highly suggest following @marketingmonk of the Cryptoverse, as Chris Coney is providing us with excellent updates.

Read all you can. Whatever you decide to do though, HODL !!

would be great to have a paper wallet for Steem

I like this gif list wow :) Thank for sharing! @darkflame
