STEEMFEST !!!
So excited for the STEEM conference in Amsterdam!
Plus we'll get 1,000 (x2) STEEM Power!
My girlfriend & I have decided we're going to Amsterdam for the November 11/12/13 conference. We're in immense credit card debt, but $1,142 + 288 SBD is still worth 2 plane tix LVS > AMS & 2 conference tix. We're getting busy, with a Kickstarter currently out for a banquet in Salt Lake City, then we have an album release November 5th.
Amsterdam will be a great adventure in this game of life. We're also seeking to utilize the opportunity for promotion & networking. Modern Day Slavery is niche sound centralizing around the idea that capitalism has psychologically enslaved the human race, and that we're heading for a revolution of biblical proportions.

This makes me sad. Many are quick to complain about the economic problems all around us via wall street, central banking, government, and the like... but there's also the problem staring us directly in the mirror. I've personally gone through a lot of hardship because of debt (in high school my parents lost their house and we had to live on a boat). I hope you are spared that future, and you can get out of debt so your income can build you wealth. Steemfest will be fun, but I guarantee you a life without debt will be much more fun over a longer period of time.
(1) We're taking the chance that investing in Bitcoin & STEEM will yield higher returns with stronger equity than the payments on our USD credit.
(2) We've invested heavily into our S-Corp & have an album that we believe will generate enough cash flow & momentum to carry us into our next album in the Spring which we expect will send our corporation out of "Start Up Phase" as described in our ByLaws as "the initial period by which the founders are owed credit expenses by Cardiff Inc."
Sunshine and rainbows are fun. Realty can be harsh. Curious what the annual interest rate is on your debt? Hoping bitcoins and STEEM will exceed that while also spending more money on travel seems beyond optimistic. As to the success of your album, I wish you well, but I live in Nashville and know all too well how few musicians become financially successful.
I'm not hating, just trying to bring some perspective. I see a lot irrational expectations which then lead to frustration and, sadly, anger towards things like bitcoin and STEEM.
