Under Pressure is the debut studio album of rapper Logic. It was released on October 21st, 2014 by Visionary Music Group and Def Jam Recordings. Although the album took several years to develop, it was recorded in over a period of two weeks. It debuted at number 4 on the Billboard top 200 selling 72,000 units in the United States. I loved this album, the production was absolutely amazing and I really liked the way Logic put this all together. After listening to all of his various mixtapes, this one definitely feels like an ALBUM. It's a legendary piece of work, for sure.

Songs That Stand Out:

#1 Intro
Produced by 6ix
Perfect way to bring in the album. It layed out the right vibe to get you wanting to here more. I loved the production on this one. Once I heard it I definitely had high hopes for the rest of the album. And that part when they start chanting "you can really do anything" is very inspirational. Makes you wanna get up and do something.

#4 Gang Related
Produced by 6ix
This song was fucking crazy to listen to. The beat is fucking amazing. Perfectly put together. And Logic tells a story. Paints a picture of what it's like in his neighborhood in Baltimore. One thing I like about this song is when he rhymes from the perspective of his older brother, because his older brother is out there on the streets, living that real life.

#5 Buried Alive
Produced by Dun Deal & Logic
I loved everything about this song. The production, the way Logic flowed to this one was just fun to listen to. He rides the beat effortlessly, and the chorus is catchy as fuck.

#12 Till The End
Produced by S1 & M-Phazes
One of my favorite outro's on any album ever. The production on this was crazy. You kind of get that vibe that you're at a block party and everyone's having a good time. That's at least how it made me feel.

Sort:

I have heard of the rapper Logic, but it is my first time listening to him. Thank you for taking the time to share your love for this artist. I love the art cover it looks like he is just out of that festival in India where they splash colors on the attendees.
Gang Related is eerie, haunting but somehow anxiogenic. I gave it a listen out of curiosity. It's not my jams.
My favorite in the bunch is Till The End. I felt what you said about the block party vibe. This is an instant replay.

The thing I enjoy most about Logic is that he focuses mainly on positivity but, being from one of the most dangerous cities in America, he's able to switch perspectives at times to shed light on his struggle.
