You Need To Ask Yourself This Question Before You Claim Your Free HUNT Tokens

@steemhunt is my current favorite SMT project. It is doing most things very well and you can take a look at my more in-depth review here. If you are familiar with the project, you must have been waiting for the Airdrop to finally happen. I was pleasantly surprised to randomly place my cursor over the button and see this:

You can claim your free SP right now. I believe the tokens could easily be worth a 10 cents. At the current prices, that's an instant 10% earning. AngelList acquired Product Hunt for $20 million in 2016. @steemhunt is not just going to have a simple product hunt clone. There is going to be a Kickstarter clone too.

Since blockchain is "hot" right now, we could get some extra boost to the valuation. producthunt.com is ranked 4,440 on Alexa and with crypto rewards we could realistically expect a little better rank. So $50 million seems like an obvious no brainier valuation IMHO. There are 500 million tokens and I remember hearing that when HUNT SMT launch, the remaining tokens from the 250 million airdrop would be burnt.

That's enough for me to be convinced of eventual 10 cent minimum conservative valuation. With that in mind, ask yourself this:

Do You Have Plans To Power Up/Down?

The SP based airdrop can only be claimed once. Your rewards will be calculated based on your own SP and not effective SP. You can delegate all you want. You could even delegate to @steemhunt and earn extra HUNT Tokens + Little bit of STEEM as a reward.

There are 100 million tokens to be claimed. If you are active on STEEM, you'll be earning SP. 15% of all minted STEEP is assigned to be paid for SP holders. Since only a portion of STEEM is powered up, effectively you get interest that is slightly over 1.8% per year. If you go to a large account like @steem and refresh the page every minute you'll see the amount of SP held magically going up. The reason is the above mentioned interest.

It's Bit of A Game - A Game Worth Playing

Many people would jump to claim the tokens and might even start trading after the withdrawal function is implemented. Don't be too hasty. Personally I'd recommend waiting till at least 80 million tokens are claimed. You can keep posting and even have a large power up on the day you claim tokens and immediately power down.
