Initiative Q - The new payment model and free Q crypto!

A new payment standard

This post is a little outside my usual photography posts, but I thought I needed to share it here on steemit. A friend of mine has recently made me aware of a new type of payment system based on blockchain technology and its own cryptocurrency called Q.

The fun thing about this is that it will use existing payment technologies developed by companies like apple and google (think apple pay) to allow you to just use your phone to scan a barcode on a product in a store and then just walk out with it. Bang! You've paid for it. How easy was that? And underpinned by blockchain technology you know it will be secure. Its also being developed from some really smart guys that created the technology that underpins paypal's systems.

Get Invited!

So having said that, they are doing an airdrop to get things rolling and get users signed up. The sooner you sign up the more you can get, so what's to loose right? Well there is one catch, you need to be invited.

As luck would have it I have an invite link! The catch is, I can only invite 5 people! Then once you are signed up you can invite 5 etc etc.. Each person who gets in gets 10,000Q and a further 10,000 for anyone else who signs up through their invite. However, if you use up all 5 invites you can get more invites to share, so sign up and get some free money!

All it takes is your name and email address. You never know if something like this will take off, but its no real effort to get involved so why not try right?
