Well, I don't think I agree with you here, in the past, there existed a means of exchange (a legal tender), so many evidence to prove that even in the bible.
The argument here relates contemporary times, can money buy a healthy love?
You started by trying agreeing to an extent lol.
Money cannot buy you a long-lasting love.
Finally, let me leave you with an image i created

I meant money in a modern fashioned sense did not exist in early times, but if we want to go back in history there was nothing like legal tender before modern society, human groups existed as nomads and small communities living freely as primitive socialist living off the land, as population grew then you got trade-by-barter exchange, then as civilizations improved then you got legal tender.
and I don't think the bible contain all historical references.
