DRIVE SAFE, LIVE LONG. "AIR-CLINIC"
Tessy woke up by 5am. The excitement of meeting Moturayo after 5years did that to her. She and Moturayo had been friends since preschool; they eventually attended the same high school and college before Tee (as she called her best friend) travelled to California for a M.Sc Programme.
It took away everything from Tessy not to run out of her house by 11pm the previous day when Tee had texted to tell her she was in town. They had planned to meet at their favourite spot which was a playground close to Tee's house.
Around 7am Tessy left her house, she wanted to surprise Tee by getting her favourite flavour of Ice cream. She was driving and so it wouldn't take much time. Tee was equally excited and was already at their meeting point.
Her phone buzzed. She picked it up with one hand while the other was on the steering; she told Tee she had a special surprise for her and was laughing hard at how Tee was begging her to hurry up. She forgot she was driving and kept looking at the screen of her phone.

Tessy heard people screaming but before she could see why..... BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!
It took her some seconds to recover from the shock. As she stepped out of her car, she saw a baby girl lying in a pool of blood with a bicycle few feets away.
NO!!!! SHE COULDN'T HAVE KILLED HER.NO!!.
Tessy rushed the baby to the hospital. "God Please!!!" She kept saying to herself. The baby lost so much blood but the doctors said she would survive.
She called Moturayo to tell her what had happened but Moturayo was crying. She just got a call that her niece was riding to the Ice cream shop was was hit by a careless driver.

She ended the call. She couldn't tell Tee she was the careless driver. She didn't just almost kill a cute little baby, it was her best friend's niece. This was it. She would never use her phone while driving.

Awesome plot. Why would Tee send her niece to ride alone on a busy road. I'm assuming the road was busy. grins
Lol. Well your assumption might be wrong
That's why it's called assumption.
The universe has a funny sense of humor . Going forward I believe the phone is going to be faraway from her as possible. She could probably leave it in the boot of the car. Great writeup @annieben
True. She'll probably not use that particular phone again too
Nice article. A good story of portraying the essence of driving safe

safe driving is indeed very important because we never know when an accident might happen
that is why I love Tesla's cars, they will fix this issue
@dedicatedguy how would they fix it?
With their autopilot feature where the car just drives itself. Decreasing the risk of accidents
That company is my favorite car company
Wow.... That's really cool
This is great... Success dear
Thanks love
Look at what the love of phone has caused
Like you that is always using yours
